Herzebrock, July 11, 2017 – On July 3, the “who is who” of the design scene gathered in Essen for the Red Dot Gala in the Aalto Theater. A special highlight of the gala was the presentation of the trophies to the winners.
Among the Red Dot winners: the door panel Bentano by adeco. The Bentano, created by designer Sabine Bischof, had already been awarded the Iconic Award earlier this year. Now again, the model Bentano stood out from a strong international competition.
More than 5,500 products from 54 countries had been registered for the competition. Professor Dr. Peter Zec, founder and CEO of Red Dot, hosted the evening with more than 1,200 international guests attending.
After the award ceremony, an after-show party took place in the Red Dot Design Museum where our winner model Bentano is on exhibition for one year.
Christian Reckendrees, adeco’s General Manager, is pleased about the Red Dot Design Award: “This award is both a recognition of our high-quality design and an incentive to continue setting ambitious targets for the future.’ Together with designer Sabine Bischof, he accepted the Red Dot Award for outstanding design.
