Earthy, honest, innovative – that is Westphalia

Headquarters of adeco is Herzebrock-Clarholz (NRW). The East-Westphalian community Herzebrock-Clarholz is located in the county of Gütersloh, one of the most economically healthy regions in all of Germany. The motto of Gütersloh county – "worldly yet down-to-earth« – also stands for adeco's philosophy: adeco developed its market in Europe from one location, where honest people do an honest day's work.

The economic structure of Herzebrock-Clarholz (population 16,500) is characterised by medium-sized companies. Whereas the furniture and the meat processing industries initially dominated, the local economy is meanwhile also driven by the plastics industry and the electronics sector.

The infrastructure works. Two main traffic arteries ensure the connection to long-distance traffic: Federal highway 64 between Paderborn and Münster runs directly through Herzebrock-Clarholz. The A 2 motorway – one of the most important European East-West connections – lies just a few kilometres from the company's location in Herzebrock.
